MSU-Innovation-Expo-2025
On August 23, 2025, Mahasarakham University, through the Division of Research Facilitation and Dissemination, organized the first MSU Innovation Expo 2025, a premier showcase of cutting-edge research and innovations. The event was held at the Chalermprakiat Building (City Campus) to promote research outcomes and innovations developed by faculty and researchers, with a focus on practical applications and building partnerships to support sustainable development.
The second day of the expo was filled with educational and inspiring experiences. It opened with a performance by Manu Muan, a contemporary Molam (traditional northeastern Thai folk music) band from the College of Music, Mahasarakham University.
This was followed by a keynote lecture titled “Carbon Credits and the Future of Green Innovation” presented by Dr. Amarin Dranapob from Net Zero Carbon Co., Ltd., and Mr. Krerkkiat Srikern from Wave BCG Co., Ltd.
Another featured lecture focused on “Innovation and Its Role in Driving Economic, Social, and Environmental Growth in Local Areas,” delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Uthen Kamnan, Deputy Director of the Program Management Unit for Area-Based Development (PMU-A).
A panel discussion then took place, exploring experiences in research and the practical application of research findings, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mongkarn Intrakamhaeng. This was followed by product and innovation presentations under the theme “Research You Can Eat and Use”, presented by Dr. Supachai Sutthicharoen, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apinan Uranopphon, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Chanthiratikhun.
Toward the end of the event, a special forum was held for researchers to share insights with SME entrepreneurs and community enterprises. Representatives included Lamoon Interfoods Co., Ltd., Thai Tissue Culture International Co., Ltd., and OLISA Products, discussing the topic “Innovation and Its Impact on Product Development and Entrepreneurship.”
Throughout the event, visitors could explore exhibitions from a total of 58 booths, featuring research and innovation projects from university faculty, researchers, private companies, entrepreneurs, and local community enterprises. The MSU Innovation Expo 2025 runs from August 22 to 24, 2025.
