Mahasarakham University (MSU), through the Research Support Department, Division of Research Facilitation and Dissemination, organized the program “Capacity Building for Supporting Staff Researchers, Fiscal Year 2025 – Batch 2, Session 1” from September 24–25, 2025, at Wishing Tree Khon Kaen Resort, Khon Kaen Province. The program was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Pairot Pramual, Vice President for Research and Innovation Development.
The program featured lectures by distinguished experts, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apantee Poonputra, Faculty of Education, on “Applying Research Principles and In-Depth Data Analysis Techniques to Enhance Organizational Efficiency and Strategic Decision-Making.”
- Mr. Niwat Pattaniboon, Director of the Human Resources, on “Analyzing and Managing Operational Data to Create Process Innovation and Organizational Competitive Advantage.”
- Mr. Kamphanat Archa, Senior Academic Officer, Division of Planning, on “Transforming Routine Work into Research: AI Strategies and Tools for Innovation and Knowledge Value Creation.”
The program aimed to empower MSU’s supporting staff to transform routine work into research, strengthen data analysis skills for innovation, and enhance overall organizational capacity. It also focused on promoting strong governance in the management of science, research, and innovation projects to foster a sustainable research ecosystem.
Workshops were also conducted on Key Work Process Analysis and drafting research and innovation concept proposals with AI tools. Participants had the opportunity to practice, present draft proposals, and exchange ideas. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Kamphanat Archa. More than 50 supporting staff from various faculties and units of MSU took part in the program.
